The prestigious awards recognize chief financial officers and financiers for extraordinary achievement and excellence in promoting the development of the Greater Washington region's technology community. Area leaders from many industries attend the Annual CFO Awards Banquet. The Public Company CFO of the Year, Private Company CFO of the Year and Emerging Growth CFO of the Year awards are presented to CFOs for outstanding contributions to their companies’ performance and accomplishments as well as to the Greater Washington region's technology community as a whole. Returning this year is the Financier of the Year Award, presented to an individual who has contributed to the economic development of the Greater Washington region’s technology community. The Hall of Fame Award recognizes an individual whose contributions have significantly and uniquely impacted the Greater Washington region's technology community during the course of his/her career.
